European e-vignettes, ordered and registered for you

A motorway vignette is a prepaid road-use permit that lets you drive a country's tolled motorway network for a fixed period. In all eight countries listed here the vignette is digital: nothing goes on the windscreen, and the permit is held electronically against your licence plate and read by camera. That is why the plate you enter has to match your vehicle exactly.

Eight countries use a vignette for cars up to 3.5 tonnes: Austria, Switzerland, Czechia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Hungary, Romania and Bulgaria. France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Croatia, Poland and Greece use distance-based tolls collected at barriers instead, so you pay per journey there rather than buying a permit in advance.

No. Vignettera is an independent commercial service and is not a government agency or national toll operator, and it is not affiliated with ASFINAG, the Swiss FOCBS, CENDIS, NDS, DARS, NUSZ, CNAIR or BGTOLL. Every vignette we place is a genuine registration in the national system. You can always order directly from the state operator and pay only the official fee.

The price you see includes the official state fee plus a Vignettera service fee that covers placing the order, checking your plate and handling the confirmation. Both amounts are itemised on the order page before you pay and again on your receipt, so you always know what the state charges and what we charge.

Our team submits orders manually, normally within 5 to 30 minutes during working hours, and emails the confirmation. Several countries then apply their own statutory delay before a digital vignette starts, so where your travel date allows it, order at least one day ahead rather than at the border.

Enforcement is automatic, because gantry and patrol cameras read plates and check them against the national register. Penalties differ by country and start at roughly €120 in Austria, while Switzerland charges CHF 200 plus the price of the vignette. Since the fine is many times the permit, checking your plate on the confirmation email is worth the minute it takes.

Once a vignette is registered in a national system it is tied to your plate and the national operator does not refund it, so we cannot reverse it either. If you contact us before we have submitted your order, we can cancel it and refund the full amount. Our refund policy sets out both cases.
